Lyrae’s Hot Distraction

Service in the Uncrowned was not a life that everyone would choose given the realities of danger, potential death, and the long hours of being under the threat of both. Some assignments were more subtle though, and those did tend to have their perks if one knew how to take advantadge of them. 

Lyrae found herself on assignment, tasked with tracking the movements and associations of an oafish Kul’Tiran merchant, which meant that wherever he went she had to follow. Good fortune had smiled on her however, as the destination was the Jade Ember and any excuse to be able to blend in while having a drink, soak up a bit of sea air and sunshine, and people watch half-naked beautiful bodies while her target drank and ate himself silly was very hard to argue against.

When she overheard some of the staff as they talked about one of the other visitors to the resort, the described antics and name sounded familiar to some of the more tawdry talk shared in certain circles she was familiar with. With her target passed out in his cottage in a drunken stupor, the resourceful rogue made her way to the favorite private hot spring reservation of one Kalec Sunwhisper to see if the rumors were true. As she heard his footsteps echo from down the stone path towards her, she quickly disrobed and laid herself back on the edge of the pool to lay in wait in a wholly different form of ambush tactic….

An image set made after discussions on a Discord server that I’m a part of with the OC’s owner. This took me a lot longer than I want to admit to due to time constrains, personal life, and a mixture of technical issues that I kept running into but I am absolutely pleased with how everything came out.
